The Formula 1® Australian Grand Prix will return to Albert Park from 13 to 16 March 2025.
The onsale will begin on Tuesday 8 October with a ticket limit of 10. There will be no tickets available to purchase at the gates. All tickets are to be pre-purchased online through Ticketmaster at ticketmaster.com.au/australiangp.
All children aged between 3-14 are required to purchase a junior ticket to the event. This is inclusive of Park Pass, Grandstand and Hospitality tickets.
Can I purchase the same seat I have had in the past?
To ensure fairness, fans are not able to reserve the same seat for consecutive years.
How do Grandstands work on Thursday?
Thursday is a great opportunity to explore different Grandstands as all seats are unreserved. For 4 Day Grandstand ticket holders, Thursday offers General Admission seating. Reserved Grandstand seats are offered from Friday to Sunday.
What does Partial View mean?
There is a small range of tickets throughout the circuit that are flagged as partial view due to the railings of the grandstand or other unavoidable restrictions. All front-row seating is flagged as partial view due to the railing in front of you.
What is an Aisle Ticket?
Tickets in all grandstands that are the first 4 seats from each aisle have a $20 surcharge for being close or onto an aisle. This is also reflected in the three seats in the back aisle, which do not have any seats in front of them.
Who qualifies as a Concession?
Patrons holding a concession ticket must provide identification confirming concession status at the time of entry and carry that identification with them at all times during the event. AGPC will only accept the following cards as proof of concession:
- Full Pensioner Concession Card
- Full Time Student Card (including International)
- Health Care Card
- Veterans Affairs Card
If a fan purchases a ticket on a concession basis and is unable to show one of the above concession identifications to the satisfaction of AGPC at any time during the event, they may be refused entry or directed to leave the event.
My ticket price is more than the advertised amount. Why is this?
Park Pass tickets are subject to market-driven pricing, meaning prices may vary based on demand and availability. All ticket prices are subject to change.
A small portion of each Grandstand will be allocated to In Demand tickets which are tickets to the FORMULA 1 AUSTRALIAN GRAND PRIX 2025 in some of the most sought-after areas of each of the Grandstands. Visit our FAQ to learn more about In Demand tickets.
Presale
The Ballot Presale begins on Monday 7 October at 12 p.m. AEDT. Only fans that are successful in the Ballot Presale will be able to participate.
How do I sign up for the Presale Ballot??
- Visit the Presale Ballot page to sign up.
- Fill out and submit the form.
- We’ll send you a confirmation email to let you know your sign up was successful and what you can expect next.
If I receive a code, am I guaranteed tickets?
You can access the Ballot Presale if you receive an access code, but it’s not guaranteed you’ll be able to purchase tickets. They’re available on a first-come, first-served basis.
How do I purchase tickets?
- At the specified time, click the link you were sent.
- You’ll enter the queue. To keep your place in line, stay on the page and don’t refresh.
- Once it’s your turn, enter the unique code exactly how it appears in the text in the space labelled Offer Code.
- Find your tickets. These are available on a first-come, first-serve basis as tickets aren’t guaranteed. Each event has a strict maximum ticket limit.
- Then checkout!
How many tickets can I buy with my code?
You can purchase up to 6 tickets with your unique code.
When will the Waiting Room open?
The Waiting Room will open 15 minutes before the Ballot Presale begins. When the Presale begins, fans in the Waiting Room are assigned a spot in line. Once you reach the end of the queue, enter your access code exactly as it appears to access tickets.
You must use the same Ticketmaster account that you signed up with to join the Waiting Room.
My code isn’t working. What should I do?
If you signed up and received an access code through text or email from Ticketmaster, but it’s not working, try checking these things first:
- Make sure the event is on sale. Access codes are sent out before the event goes on sale but won’t work until the event is actually on sale.
- You must enter the access code exactly how it appears in your text or email.
Will there be other ways to buy tickets?
If you miss out on tickets during the Ballot Presale, don’t worry, more tickets will be released in the General Public Onsale on Tuesday 8 October. There is a ticket limit of 10 for the General Public Onsale.
I got an email saying I’m on the waitlist. What does that mean?
If you’re currently on the waitlist, stay tuned - you may still have a chance to purchase tickets.
For the Ballot Presale, fans were randomly selected to determine who would be invited to join at the start of the Presale and who was placed on the waitlist.
More fans may be invited to join the sale based on ticket availability. If you’re selected, you will receive an email or text with a link to join the sale.
Accessing your mobile tickets
You can view your ticket details on Ticketmaster.com.au or in the app. The Event Organiser will make the scannable ticket available closer to the day of your event, which is estimated to be [Day, Date] at [Time].
Park Pass and Grandstand tickets will be available from the time of purchase.
This event is using mobile entry, so your phone is your ticket. Download the Ticketmaster app to access and manage your order. Before leaving for your event, we recommend adding your ticket to a digital wallet or viewing your ticket in the app to avoid internet connectivity issues at the venue.
What should I do if I can’t access my tickets at the event?
The Ticketmaster support team located outside each gate will be able to print you a replacement ticket for the day.
Who should I contact if I need help with tickets purchased through a third-party site?
Please reach out to your point of contact directly. AGPC-Authorised Agents are required to provide you with a refund on the same basis as AGPC would provide a refund under the Attendance Conditions.
If you purchase through an unauthorised third-party company such as Viagogo or The Ticket Merchant, purchases are made at the fan's own risk. We strongly recommend purchasing through an Authorised Agent.

Event Extras
Do I need to purchase a Park Pass ticket in addition to a Grandstand ticket?
If you have purchased a Grandstand ticket, you do not need to purchase an additional Park Pass ticket.
What do I need to know about Collector Tickets?
A Collector Ticket is a hard copy ticket that not only gets you into the event but also serves as a treasured keepsake to be kept well after the race is over. When available, you can find them by selecting a Collector Ticket under the ticket type when choosing your tickets. They incur a $25 surcharge.
Collector Tickets can only be delivered to fans with valid Australian addresses by mail.
If you haven't received your Collector Tickets within one week from the event, please submit a query to Fan Support and include your event name and Collector Tickets Not Arrived as the subject.
When will my Merchandise Pack arrive?
The arrival date for merchandise packs is currently TBC. Please check back regularly for when this is updated.
