Ticket Forward lets you send tickets to friends before the event, straight from your Ticketmaster account to theirs. No more driving around town handing out tickets or waiting outside the venue for the friend who’s always late! Ticket Forward is convenient, simple and free and can be done on your desktop or mobile device.
To forward tickets:
- Log in to your MyTicketmaster account and access your Order page.
- Click the Forward button on the order you wish to forward.
- Follow the simple steps to Forward any of your tickets to friends. You can Forward one ticket or all tickets.
- Remember, the recipient's email address must be different to the sender's email address.
- Your friend will need a Ticketmaster account. Don’t worry if they don’t have one, they will be able to create an account when accepting tickets.
Just remember that not all events will have the Forward option available - if there is no Forward button on your order, Ticket Forward is not available for that event.
We will email you as soon as your friend accepts the tickets. Once your friend accepts the Forward, please destroy your original tickets if you printed them as they are no longer valid and won’t get you into the event.

Can I Forward a ticket for my event?
Go to your MyTicketmaster Account and look for your order in Order Details. If Ticket Forward is available, you will see a FORWARD button showing in your Order Detail page.
I have a few Ticketmaster accounts – how do I check which one has been sent a Forwarded ticket?
When accepting the forwarded ticket via email, you had to log into a Ticketmaster account to complete the acceptance process. The Ticketmaster account used to log into (or created) to accept the ticket/s, is the Ticketmaster account that has the new forwarded ticket/s in it.
My friend Forwarded a ticket to me but I lost the email.
Ask your friend to cancel the original Forward and then Forward the tickets again. This can only be done if you have not yet accepted the ticket forward invitation.
Where do I find the ticket I accepted in MyTicketmaster account?
If you accepted the forwarded ticket via the email and completed the forward process, the ticket will be located in your MyTicketmaster account in the My Orders section.
How do I accept tickets someone has Forwarded to me?
You will receive an email with an Accept Tickets button. Just follow the prompts to complete the Forward process. The recipient’s email address must be different to the sender’s email address. Just click the Accept Tickets button in the email and sign in to your Ticketmaster account or create a new one.
Why isn’t there a Forward button on my event in My Account?
Ticket Forward is not available on all events. If you are not seeing a Foward button on your event, you will not be able to forward tickets.
Can I Forward a ticket which has Print-at-Home as the delivery method?
Yes, you can do this via your MyTicketmaster account.
Can I Forward anything besides tickets, like parking?
You can only forward the event ticket/s. You will not be able to Forward merchandise, event ticket insurance, food or beverage vouchers, parking or any other associated upsell.
Can I Forward tickets that someone Forwarded to me?
Yes. Once you accept the ticket/s, if you are unable to use them, you can Forward them back to the original owner or Forward them to anyone you want.
Which account has the money on it?
All financials remain in the original purchaser’s account. Once a ticket has been forwarded, the original purchaser’s account still holds the dollar value. Ticket Forward is free, therefore the recipient’s account will hold the tickets with the new barcode, however no payments will be transferred over.
How do I cancel my Forwarded ticket?
Login to the My Ticketmaster account you forwarded the tickets from. Find the account and go to the Order Details page. There will be a ticket status showing as ‘Forward Pending’ and the name of the person you forwarded the ticket/s to. Next to the status, there will be ‘Cancel’ in blue text. Click on the blue ‘Cancel’ and complete the steps to cancel the ticket forward. You can only cancel a Forwarded ticket provided the recipient has not already accepted it.
