For some events, the delivery of tickets is delayed, either at the request of the promoters or due to circumstances beyond our control.
This delay gives us time to run routine checks to ensure all fans get a fair shot at seats, like confirming every buyer is a fan and not a bot and making sure everyone sticks to the ticket limit.
If you haven’t received your ticket and it is within 3 days of your event, please submit an enquiry and we will look into this for you. If you haven’t heard back from us before you leave for your event, please speak to the venue box office at the event for assistance.
When will my tickets be released?
*Your tickets for admission will be issued directly by the Sydney Opera House. If you selected to receive your tickets electronically, the Sydney Opera House will issue them via email early on the morning of the event. If you elected to collect your tickets from the venue box office, please show Photographic ID for collection on the day and early arrival is recommended. Outlet collection is not available for these events.
±Hamilton, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, and Moulin Rouge -If you selected mobile ticket delivery, tickets will be available via My Account on the Ticketmaster website or app, from 72 hours prior to the performance. Ticket Forward will become available from 72 hours prior to the performance as well.
If you selected venue collection for your tickets, they will be available on the day of the performance only. Tickets must be collected and personally signed for by the credit card holder who is the only person authorised to collect tickets. For identification purposes, the credit card holder must present personal ID, the credit card which was used when purchasing the tickets, and the account confirmation number at the time of collection.
There will be no outlet sales or tickets posted for this event.
‡ Venue Pickup only - All Venue Pickup tickets must be collected and personally signed for by the credit card holder who is the only person authorised to collect tickets. For identification purposes, the credit card holder must present personal ID, the credit card which was used when purchasing the tickets, and the account confirmation number. Please note for some events, tickets can only be picked up from the venue on the event day once doors have opened.
**Tickets will be fulfilled by the Roslyn Packer Theatre instead of Ticketmaster. The Roslyn Packer Theatre will post your tickets 7-10 working days from purchase date.
^ Collector Tickets are hard copy, souvenir-style tickets. Because of this, they will take a little longer than standard tickets to be printed and mailed to you.
~Ticket distribution will be fulfilled by the Sydney Theatre directly. Therefore there will be no Ticketmaster Outlet sales or collections. Please allow 7-10 working days for mail out.
§ Forum Melbourne will be digital only events. What this means is all tickets are Mobile Ticket only - no tickets will be posted. In addition, tickets can only be purchased via the Ticketmaster website or Ticketmaster App*, so no phone or outlet sales. Accessible and Companion Card ticket options are excluded and are still available via Forum Melbourne's Accessible Seating Line - 03 9299 9800. Companion Card bookings can be made via Ticketmaster's Accessible Booking Line - 1300 446 925. Companion Card bookings must be venue pick up only with collection from box office being from 1 hour prior to the show and the companion card must be presented.
