The queue acts as a virtual line that uses advanced security measures to detect bots and monitor traffic. When it’s your turn, you can view the entire seat map and select your preferred tickets for purchase.
Tickets are always based on availability and demand. They’re not guaranteed.
Can I skip the queue?
No, the queue can’t be skipped. At times, we do offer fan club boosts specific to certain predetermined events. If you're waiting in line for access to tickets, stay on the page and don't refresh to keep your spot.
Why is the queue I'm trying to join closed?
Queues are closed to prevent fans from waiting unnecessarily for limited tickets at the end of a sale. You can check the event page later to shop for any remaining tickets or look for any other upcoming sales for that event.
Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis and aren’t guaranteed. We recommend joining the waiting room 15 minutes prior to the event going on sale. When you’re ready, follow these steps:
- Locate the event on ticketmaster.com.au or for some presales, you’ll need to use the link sent to you. Not all presales require a link.
- Join the waiting room. For events with multiple dates, you can join multiple queues using the same device or account.
- When the sale officially begins, you’ll be given a place in line.
- Once it’s your turn to shop, use the map to select your tickets and then proceed to checkout.
Events using the queue may vary due to traffic and demand that impact wait times.
For a smoother shopping experience, we recommend:
- Watch your screen. If you’re planning to shop for an event on your mobile device, keep your screen active or your Waiting Room will pause. Resist the urge to refresh; your page will automatically refresh when you enter the queue.
- Ensure your Ticketmaster Account is up to date, including your phone number and email address. Have an accepted payment method ready to avoid delays at checkout.
- Sign in once using only one device and one browser. Use a safe and secure internet connection.
- Turn up the volume on your device, so when it’s your turn, you hear the queue notification bell sound - even if you need to step away.
- Use the right link. The presale organiser may choose to send you a unique link that gives you access to the queue. Not all presales require a link.
Do I have to stay on the page the entire time?
Yes. While you’re in the queue, your spot will be automatically and frequently refreshed, so please don’t refresh the page yourself, close, or leave the page. When it’s your turn, your spot will be held for 10 minutes.
Is there a set time I will get ticket access?
No, a set time is not guaranteed. This new process allows fans to scope out the venue and shop for the best ticket for them, so there may be a longer wait than you’ve experienced before.
We only allow more people in when space opens up. During the process, we’ll keep you updated on your status along the way.
Can I join the queue more than once using more than one device or browser?
No, doing so will impact your spot in the queue. We recommend using one account, one device, and one browser to join the queue.
